bristol’s very own graffiti festival returns on saturday 4th and sunday 5th june, larger than ever and featuring artists from all around the world. as well as the traditional tobacco factory site, there’ll be work at vector seating across the road, north street green, hotwells flyover, view gallery, plus the try again, spotted cow and hen and chicken pubs.

among the many artists invited to exhibit is easton-based artist, the fly. his site-specific interventions have been springing up round the streets of easton and beyond for the past few years, adorning dumped fridges and other discarded waste. more recently he’s produced a series of fly posters, which have appeared interspersed between the city’s clubbing posters. he can be found in north street green over the weekend, so catch him if you can.

as well as art, there’ll be live music and djs, along with live drawing sessions. here’s a breakdown of events:

as if all this isn’t enough, you can buy art from the upfest gallery, including signed fly posters and a rare original piece by the fly. pop into the gallery at 198 north street, bs3, or visit their online store at upfest.co.uk.
