easton is not the easiest place to advertise.
there is a history of advert intervention, defacing advertising hoardings with political and social commentation, sometimes funny, usually biting. things took a turn for the better when and enterprising gang [i assume it was more than 1 person] took it upon themselves to cut down the two advertising boards at baptist mills last november…

it took several weeks for replacement posts and boards to get fitted, but they came and did it in preparation for a new assault on our senses. however, in true bristol fashion, someone has come and taken the opportunity to place a couple of ads up for our entertainment…

there’s no denying these comments are hard-hitting, just as it’s hard to deny their truth. if it helps to persuade someone else to stop buying into coca cola and mcdonalds and the like, then more power to them.
it’s art, it’s politics, it’s advertising
