a graffiti removal team in bristol have removed a banksy mural by mistake. the contractors, nordic, were asked by the neighbourhood renewal team to remove graffiti on the wall adjacent to the banksy, but had specific instructions from clean and green NOT to remove any banksy murals. the contractors missed his tag, which was sprayed all down one side of the piece, and painted the entire wall black.

the mural wasn’t in the best of states, nor was it a typical signature piece, but it was old and rare and ours
